Throughout my childhood, my dad would (force) me to go fishing on Lake Michigan. I was afraid of getting seasick, so it was always a relief when the local fishermen said the lake was “glass”. These calm waves are a reminder that the things we’re scared of aren’t always so scary– but oftentimes beautiful.
