Ball Mason in Pink

Acrylic on canvas, 2024. 14″x18″

The interactions of light and glass often produce abstract arrangements of color and form that defy intuition. In this painting, bands of color within the embossed “Ball Mason” lettering and fragmented light throughout the jar appear abstract in isolation, but together they combine into a recognizable object. The work encourages viewers to consider how perception emerges from the complex behavior of light.
